The Faculty of Medicine is implementing blended learning at a programmatic level in the Faculty’s campus-based undergraduate programs and enhancing the quality of online learning in its postgraduate coursework programs.
As part of this initiative, a media room, located in the AGSM building in room 216, is available to create engaging online activities, materials and video-lectures for students. On request one-on-one consultations are available to faculty members to help build skills and knowledge to enhance their online and in-class lectures and activities.

mediaUcreate Moodle Site
How do you make an educational video that adds value to someone's learning experience? Would you like to know the answer to this question? Yes? So would I.
This learning space has been created to tackle this question through the sharing and reviewing of video projects. Like all things, practice makes perfect and in order to create a collegial, collaborative space we will need to allocate some time to create our educational resources.
Firstly, you will need to choose the topics and activities that align with your learning objectives and fit this into your work/life schedule. Every month you will have the opportunity to join me in a video conferencing session through Google + as a way to connect virtually.
I hope this space offers both experts and novices new insights into creating educational media resources that facilitate learning.
