The proposed research sets out to explore the complex area of clinical decision making in rural health care settings, with the aim of developing and trialling educational modules to better prepare clinicians to make evidence based decisions that also appropriately tailored to the rural context.

Skills Required: 

Basic understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methods. Willingness to consider a mixed methods approach. Some experience in healthcare related fields. Experience in rural healthcare settings will be very valuable

This project will include a number of doctoral and post-doctoral projects. Interested candidates will have the flexibility to focus on an area of interest within the broad topic of clinical decision making and rural contextual influences.
