This one-day workshop hosted by the Qualitative Research Network (QRN) Hub at UNSW Sydney is aimed at all beginners in qualitative research. Through intensive training, this workshop will provide researchers with an overview of qualitative interviewing and the different forms it can take. Combined with practical components, and insight from highly experienced qualitative researchers, participants will develop a sound basis of planning and conducting an interview. This workshop is vital for anyone who intends to obtain their qualitative data in a rigorous and in-depth way.

About the QRN Hub
Based at UNSW Sydney, the QRN Hub offers a range of events and services to build capacity in qualitative research. The central aim of the Hub is to expand and strengthen scholarship in the rigorous application and use of qualitative research methods. The Hub hosts monthly seminars and regular training workshops, and is open to staff and students, as well as other researchers and practitioners beyond UNSW Sydney. With the principle of knowledge sharing, and representation from qualitative researchers across disciplines and research centres, the QRN Hub is open to all who are currently conducting or wish to learn how to conduct rigorous qualitative research, or explore new, innovative approaches to research.
