Contract Cheating: What it is and what we can do about it

Contract cheating causes considerable concern across the education sector. This seminar shares recent findings from 2 large student and staff surveys conducted across several institutions in Australia.

It uses these findings to equip academic staff with new approaches and strategies to detect and deter contract cheating, answering questions such as: What can (or can’t) assessment design achieve for us? How can we design learning activities better? How can we raise student awareness about this problem? ​​ All welcome.
